Although it has been an argument for many a year, i thought i'd bring it up.

who really killed him? some say it was a suicide, but here are some reasons why I think it was his wife, Courtney Love:

1) the last line of the "suicide note" was the only line that mentioned suicide itself (the rest seems like a mere retirement letter), and the only line that could have been forged.

2) Kurt Cobain was left-handed. had he shot himself the way it was supposed, the opposite hand would have been on the trigger.

3) Courtney Love was insincere during her public lamentation of kurt cobain's death.

4) Courtney Love is INSANE!!!

anyway, i would just like to know your thoughts on the subject.
death is, in and of itself, fascinating. sex... why deemed inappropriate? something that has always bugged me. shadows fall and the cities rise, sunlit moonrays take to the skies, this poem made no sense, all it did was rhyme. funny how people can be so... human... scary, more like. the people scare me. you never know what they'll say. i prefer criminals. at least you know when they'll shoot. I heard somewhere that his arms were not long enough to reach the trigger of the gun as well. Although I ultimately side with suicide.

The first thing that should tip you off is the quality of the pictures. Despite the understandably unsuitable video footage, all of the photos came back in perfect focus, with balanced light and everything. None of the abundant cosmic radiation interfered with the film, and apparently the crew was able to adjust their cameras, change film and swap filters in pressurized suits. It should have been almost impossible with the gloves on their fingers.
But thanks to the clear photographs, we can notice a number of other suspicious characteristics. Namely, the American flag is very brightly lit relative to the surrounding terrain. This, combined with the peculiar pattern of shadows off the rocks, suggests that multiple powerful light sources were set up for the photos. Besides that, none of the photos match any of the frames of film. The pictures are so perfect, each one would have taken a slick advertising agency hours to put them together. But the astronauts managed it repeatedly.
And what about the Van Allen belt? Nobody ever mentions the Van Allen belt. Apollo 16 was a tin goddamn can, and every astronaut in it would've been E-Z-Baked into oblivion.

Apollo 14: Allen Shepard makes a golf swing and slices -- in an environment lacking air!??!??!!?!???
Apollo 16: A camera films the craft leaving. Who the hell filmed this? Did they abandon someone on the moon?
Apollo 11: The photo of Neil Armstrong's first step was taken from below him. wat.
Apollo 12: Only two men walked on the moon on this flight, but the photo of the moonwalk shows the other astronaut in the reflection of the first's visor, and neither has a camera. WHO WAS PHOTO
And where are the stars!??!?

I call bullshit on the whole thing. He couldn't even reach the trigger. Like we expect fuckin' Neo over here to pull the trigger and then lean back up to put his face in the way before the bullet leaves the barrel.
It couldn't have happened. Kurt Cobain is still alive somewhere.

I'm pretty sure that he, like the late Richard Harris (was it Richard Harris?), had a heart attack while employing a unique masturbation technique.

When I first read the topic, I thought a Nirvana fan had died and that the cause of death had been listed as "Kurt Cobain."

Exactly. The Van Allen Belt! Let's wrap ourselves in tin foil and cling film and run through a nuclear fallout zone and we'll be faster than cancer!

I think Elvis wrote an essay about this last year sometime, but it was largely ignored.

Mmhmm. Nobody bothered to ask the question on everyone's mind at the convention in Loch Ness. It was so disappointing.

A combination of heroin and our terrible excuse for a drug rehabilitation program drove Cobain to suicide. Courtney simply happened to be a horrible cunt, though this was more-or-less unrelated to Kurt's death.
As soon as we wish to be happier, we are no longer happy.

You guys are all idiots. Don't you know that El Duce, former lead singer for the Mentors, was payed $50,000 by Courtney Love to kill Kurt Cobain?

On a less-related note, it seems like a really heartless thing for Courtney Love to let Activision use Kurt Cobain as a character in Guitar Hero 5.

She's said before, and I believe continues to say, that the problem she has is that Kurt can be used to sing other artist's songs.
