I suck at Guitar Hero, so I often go on easy.
I play Rock Band more though.

Easy because I'm using a keyboard that can't handle more than 3 keys at once without ghosting.

I play between Hard and Expert. I WOULD play expert all the time, but considering I don't actually own Guitar Hero 3 (The best of the bunch) I can't actually make that my goal. Also, to everyone who loves talking about your REAL guitar, I think we get it, we are talking about a game, not your real guitar. Sorry if this is coming off as me over reacting, it's just, we get it, you play real guitar, no need to costantly brag about it.

Come on pops, cool it down a little. :P
I play on Hard, because I bought Guitar Hero III for the Wii, and played it for about three days straight, then put it down, and haven't played it since, just like every other game I ever get. I'll probably pick it up in six months' time and beat it on Expert. I seem to do that sort of thing.

handofgod: Not really the place for this kind of discussion. This is a gaming forum, about games, which people clearly enjoy here. I think you're probably outnumbered. I play both guitar and Guitar Hero, and both are enjoyable in different ways. I bet you're probably just very bad at both and need to lash out to prove to yourself that it's okay that you're no good at playing guitar, since all these other people only play a video game.
Oh look, I'm flaming a little. Well, that's what you were doing. Please don't be so needlessly negative.

Yeah, the two (playing guitar and playing a game) can't be compared. I just hate it (not saying that you are doing this) when people are like "yeah i pwn at GH, im way better then anyone that every played the guitar!"Snuggletummy wrote:Also, to everyone who loves talking about your REAL guitar, I think we get it, we are talking about a game, not your real guitar. You know i bet that half or more of the people play a real guitar that play guitar hero again the whole point of a game is to get into a world not available on earth for an experience.handofgod wrote:guitar hero is a disgusting display of mindless drivel.

Well, I don't have a proper Guitar Hero (yet anyway, I've pre-ordered World Tour), only the DS one, and I play that on Expert. It may only have four frets, but they go all out on the final tracks, especially Lynard Skynard's. I just cannot play that fast.

GH2 was soo much better than 3, but that is an entirely other topicSnuggletummy wrote:I play between Hard and Expert. I WOULD play expert all the time, but considering I don't actually own Guitar Hero 3 (The best of the bunch)
Expert for me.
@at those shouting 'Play a real guitar!', I do both, eat it (they are both immensely fun, why not do both?)

Expert, although I cannot beat Raining Blood or TTFAF on expert in Guitar Hero 3. It upsets me to no end.

I've only played Guitar Hero a couple of times, and they were on medium/hard, which I found were pretty easy. I found that the rhythms were quite straight forward. But then again, that's probably because I haven't tried it on Expert yet.

Expert up to Knights of Cydonia, then Hard for the rest. Ironically, GuitarHeroMatt isnt astoundingly good at GuitarHero :P
Ironically, I play Knights of Cydonia better on Expert than I do on Hard :P
