Random drops + crates + store.

White and Black are only random drops + crates.

Re: clothes trading simulator

Find a server that isn't full of 10 year olds that care? The server group I played on suffered from 6 people trading in spawn for about the day of the update. Then things returned to normal.

Same as any major update that causes this kind of calamity, it'll all settle in a week or so.

All you need to do is play and ignore the items. The actual game isn't effected in any way.

The most you could say is that there's an element of pay2win with the new item set bonuses, but then the fact that you need to take a set of sub-par items with you to activate the bonus more than balances that.

The cosmetic stuff is fun, imo, it adds an aspect of the game that you can either invest in or ignore and won't affect your enjoyment of the game proper if it's not your bag.
I've already played in enough games where the gameplay was significantly changed due to one douchefag misusing some crazy random item... and this was before the presently massive proliferation of Weird Shit That Changes Gameplay.
Keeping up with this game is like an investment now, and I'm not Dave enough to put in the effort.

Well I'm finding it a lot of fun. The game itself hasn't changed one iota and I've always been something of a trade whore.

I know own my 5 favourite hats in the game:

Killer's Kabuto
Demoman's Fro
Pyro's Beanie
Safe'N'Sound
Tough Guy's Toque

All v.

I need you to imagine a time where, when you wanted to kill people far away as pyro, you aimed your shotgun and hoped that the physics engine was broken.

Now, you shoot a flare gun from half a mile away and hope the sniper that is on the front lines (???) does not throw piss on him.

It hasn't changed in the sense that weapon unlocks are fun and cosmetic items are cosmetic. That's imo, of course, but the majority seem to be with me on it.

Set bonuses will no longer be a massive issue soon as Robin has confirmed crafting for the new hats.

Besides, you've been loving TF2 since the flare gun and the Jarrate haven't you?

I just think there are too many weapons now, and the last 20 have been ridiculous. I haven't been pleased with the weapons since... The Scout Update?

Fair enough. I enjoy them all and I really love how the game is evolving, but then, as mentioned, I'm an item/trade whore (the second year of my two years spent playing Guild Wars was almost pure trading).

I've not searched for them, but are the no item servers easy to come by?

Not particularly, as most are like you (:3) but they do exist.

I just felt this deserved mention again.

If you had told me that this was a perfectly reasonable, and in fact common, description of TF2 gameplay when I first bought the game, I would've thought you were out of your mind. But this is, in fact, what the game has turned into.

What was that item some nameless member said last page that made his heavy run as fast as a pyro? Fuck that shit.

Nameless member? I've been a part of this community for nearly three and a half years and I'm still a nameless member?
Ouch. ;_;

Anyways, "The Gloves of Running Urgently" possess the following attributes:
• 30% faster move speed on wearer
• -50% damage done
• -6 health drained per second (when weapon is active)

Basically, you're sacrificing your melee attack for a faster move speed that, when taken advantage of, eats away at your health. Sounds like a fair trade to me. Don't get me wrong, though. I can see why you'd want to play a vanilla version of the game.

Exactly heattwave, the GORU are extremely balanced. They also act as a fine way to medic charge (I think you mentioned?).

Besides, the Flare Gun is the most awesome weapon in the game.

I only have a pyro beanie, but I hardly play the class these days. I'd be willing to trade up.

He means SPUF as in Steampower User Forums. Make an account and post a thread here. Seeing as you have a limited edition hat, no doubt you'll be able to get 2 (maybe more) hats outta it.

It's the least wanted of the limited edition hats. Offers seem to be around 1x good hat + something to sweeten such as a name tag. If you shop about you might be able to get 2xhats (probably one you want + a lower tier to trade off).

if you like I can pop your hat in my own trade thread and see if I can get offers for you? Can send them to your profile if you like them.

Sounds great.

Ideally, I want one or two of these hats back, if it helps: Tyrant's Helm, Vintage Merryweather, Triboniophorus tyrannus, or the Safe N' Sound.
