Goddamn it amazon ... I'm kept in limbo ... (I pre-ordered PS3 version off Amazon.com because it was cheaper ... it's been 9 days since release.) Here's a question for those who bought the PS3 version. Can you register the steamcopy when PSN is down? Or did you need PSN to register steamcopy?

You need PSN to register it on Steam so, unfortunately, you won't be able to play it until PSN is back up.mediate wrote:Can you register the steamcopy when PSN is down? Or did you need PSN to register steamcopy?

I'm at my parents' for the Easter holidays, and the house was invaded by old people, all clamouring round the telly to watch that balding ginger fellow get married to that hot brunette. I drafted the only other male, a 12 year old boy with no prior knowledge of Portal, into the other room and we worked our way through the first three courses.
God _damn_ does this game up the ante in co-op. I don't think my P-Body helped though, correcting mistakes triples the average time taken in a level.

also, i feel like this game is over hyped. after i beat all those puzzles in coop i doubt this game will have any re-playability, kinda like the first portal after i beat it. great game, dont get me wrong, but i wouldnt say its the best game ever.

Beat it. One of the five best games I've ever played. Last few sequences unparalleled.

There are a couple areas that are just a little bit eerie in feel, but nothing that is intended on really scaring you.
Tycho: "I don't know why people ever, ever try to stop nerds from doing things. It's really the most incredible waste of time."
Adam Savage: "I reject your reality and substitute my own!"

I am a fair chunk of the way through this now, and I have to say that this is one of the best gaming experiences that I have ever had in my life.
