It's also based off a novel and a good time killer, for some reason though I find it extremely addictive. I played consecutively for about 5-6 hours(:]) without realizing it until I stopped playing and thought about it. Although it can be frustrating at times with some enemies having x-ray and/or thermal (neither are supposed to happen) and sometimes throwing knives (a one hit kill) just bounce off and accomplish nothing other than making you look stupid. But the whole having to scavenge for ammo was, I wouldn't say it was fun in itself it was more the result. With ammo being scarce you would sometimes have barely enough ammo to kill the guys in the next room. The aboveground ground textures were pretty bad but if you allow the game to pull you in I find it's easy to ignore, unless you walk around looking at the ground. Underground the cities are extremely immersive and add a great emotional effect. Pumping the pneumatic weapons also makes the that mush more believable. I didn't have the same problems with the human AI as described in the GT review although they never really manage to run away from grenades. I haven't beaten it yet so if you have don't spoil it.
