Which do you enjoy more? Launch Pads or Bounce Blocks. If you can't decide, think of this: "Which would I be more upset about if it was removed from the game? I like that one better."

Personally, I can not decide. Launch pads can be edited and help the linear aspects of the game, while bounce blocks provide some bouncy fun.

Bounce blocks. I really enjoy using them for tricks like double jumps and backwards wall jumps.

Hi,
Macrohenry, clearly you haven't been hanging out on the N2 userlevels, some fascinating maps can be found there consisting solely of jump pads that take u around and around till u forget all ur troubles :) (joking aside, there are some good maps in the feed)

Bounce blocks all the way, they are way more useful not only for tricks, they are more versatile overall, wouldn't care much about lp's being removed.

u know, I was gonna add that you can also do this with bounceblocks > map called quick fingers http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/nv2.html?l=12489 with a cool run by whitewhale, but you- Eddy have already found that map

'backwards jumps' -by 3 b's u mean triple?

And then, you can place a jump pad inside a bounce block which gives u big propulsion and I think looks like an explosion :) map> http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/nv2.html?l=7770 called> I swear I tested it

Oh no, 3 b's because the full acronym is Bounce Block BackWards Jump.

Quoted from the N wikia page "Tricks":

"Thump/Bounceblock "backwards" wall jump

Although one of the more obscure tricks among the general N playing community, this trick is well known by many of today's active highscorers. The key to this trick, like many others, is timing. To perform a "backwards" walljump (abrreviated bwj by some highscorers)..."

I'm confused.

When you published this map I was really interested in it but didn't know how to use that element, but after watching your replay I realized. Good idea (Maybe used in v1.4 before you, I don't know). I would prefer placing similar element with easier use on more places in longer level. I will try it today in school, my last map was delayed so I must wait some time.

EDIT: and bounce blocks are of course better. I really love how they can be used for lot of tricks. Working with them got more comfortable in v2.0, that's one reason why I like v2.0 more than v1.4. I love to sometimes play level not for score, just relax when bouncing/jumping on them :).
