What laptop are you using? the XO-1?
I'm not sure. How do you normally delete, just backspace?
Well, I can only add to the list of impossible ideas you've started there: Reprogram N yourself?

Most laptops which lack those keys have an Fn (Function) key which will let you use another part of the keyboard to do that stuff. Does your laptop have an Fn key?

My laptop has Fn, and any key that has Fn function has a orange text under the normal text, like ScrLk. You should be able to use it that way.bigbird wrote:thanks guys. i will try the on-screen keyboard thing. i have a mac. it has both the mac OS and windows vista. it has an fn key and a backspace...
