I was wondering what maps people really enjoyed and were inspired by when they started out as new mappers. They don't need to be what your current favorites are or anything, just maps that are personally special to you because you just thought they were the best things ever when you were new. I posted mine as a .txt since half of them are not on NUMA.

Flight by maximo was my first "favorite map ever." I'd have to think a little bit about the rest. Neat idea.

I had already been playing N for nearly 5 years, but this was the map that made me want to make maps myself.

I always loved great teleporter maps, like If Time Could Tell and CIS, but I can't replicate that :), too much work. Trilogy and Trilogy 3 were my most favorite maps ever when I first started, but I don't know if my maps are inspired by it or not.

I'm not sure what got me into races, but I remember playing The Crazy Miner in userlevels and loving it, so this is my closest guess that I can make. ]{no3's Nart is definitely my original/current inspiration for making narts.
