I'm going to have to switch to July 5 -> July 8, since I'll be in Fiji for my current three day slot.

Woo! I completed Day 1 on this task. These maps are easy so I can introduce my part to it. I'll get progressively harder with each day.

Cool. Really cool my friend!!
You have done really cool job on your first day, Interestingly, progressive, simple but fun for highscore, Vehemence-ish, and a theme, I like. I really like that series you have been inspired by losttortuga map. loved Spasm.
Keep it up trance! I'm pretty sure that you're able to do great things!

This ... is very painful to do ... I managed 50 maps in 3 days and I WILL do the last 50 maps or go insane doing it. It may be painful, but this is the most productive I've been since final exam prep in December, so it is helpful.

LMK how you find them.

EDIT: Done ... this was fun. Hope you enjoy these maps!

So, I got back from a surprise trip to Christchurch the other day, and then remember I had to do this. Due to the fact that I am rather tired from my trips overseas, that I haven't played n in over a year and would probably be only able to make one map before I started regretting what I was getting into, I am going to have to pull out. Especially remembering how hard it was the last time.

You have a legitimate excuse. :v Don't worry too much about it. I just need your maps and one or two other's and I'm going to compile them into one large .TXT file and release them.

I well know that you're really close to finish and releasing it, but, what you think about making something like a "LAST CALL" thing.
Something like putting on the main Thread a list with the missing maps, to see if anyone wants to finish.
The list could be something like:

lfaber >>> 25/100 > missing 75
apse >>> 25/100 > missing 75
29403 >>> 25/100 > missing 75
trance >>> 50/100 > missing 50
Mustardude >>> 23/100 > missing 77
remote >>> 25/100 > missing 75
frets >>> 25/100 > missing 75
santa_hat_crusader >>> 75/100 > missing 25

And also send PM's to authors who are on this list, this may be a good idea to try to complete this in some way, and finally make a good Vehemence. Hope you're with me. ;)

Thanks for the list, and thanks for the thoughts. I'm going to be using the list to give people an idea of what actually isn't there (and maybe give the authors listed a chance at submitting some more).

yes! I forgot this existed, gonna go play the maps I made again haha :)

It's pretty unlikely that I'll hand in another 75, trying to find a second job + getting ready for uni again, so i'm kinda busy + I still remember how worn out I felt after day 1 haha.

There's a chance I might do another day some time for a flat 50 but at the very least it wouldn't be super soon, sorry guys.

Still, excited for the release!

EDIT: really enjoyed playing through my maps again and remembering my thought processes :) I'll check out you guys' soon

Thanks for the kind words btw zoas.

That's make me really happy. As I've said before, now I'm a 25% much more happy, but still missing 50% over happiness.. :P
Since your hard work, I want to deliver some words. I have chosen and played three of these 25 new maps in a random fashion and I will write something about them.

squarejacket - 27
Wow!, I really enjoyed playing and highscoring this one. The tileset is crazy, strange but lovely, I always loved e-tile maps, so this it was my kind of map. But squarejacket is much more than this, while there is a lot of crazy gold, works perfectly. It's really smooth and relaxed, aesthetics and functionality of the mines is wonderful. And what certainly makes this map great is its large moderately low level of difficulty, but its great highscore value. Everything was very well placed, and find routes here is perfect. This map is a good gift for any good highscorer who wants recreation and fun doing a few tricks and jumps in corners and stuff. Certainly I liked, much more than what I expected. Good work!
As I enjoyed this map I tried to make a good score, still room for improvement, of course, but to my satisfaction. I started getting something around 1900f agd, then 1589, then 1355, 1319, always with the same path, and cleaning it, and until I made a small change of the route, and decided to go up the tunnel on the left at the beginning (btw certainly very well executed and very fluid, it really looked like that all mines, distances and golds were placed on harmony) did not get anything below. Eventually 1250f and was satisfied. Again, really cool relaxed HR map man!
Here the demo:

Circle of Enemies - 36
By contrast, this was not your best friend. All here was in the middle or even below. From my perspective, I will say what I think were weak points. It all started with the first glance, and that noob-ish aesthetic and completely offset, at least you could have centered the map, had won in aesthetics. I was not really in the mood of that map, everything could have placed much better, and did not flow at all. It can be good at some point, or to find routes, but those gold around the 5-tiles did not seem the best idea. You have made things a lot better, here you just seemed listless and rushed to make a map more, even a 5mm. And even with 5mms you can do great things. It was not the case. I've been playing a long time looking for a good route and a quick and nice path to get all the golds, but gave up. So I did this Speedrun:

high fives - 38
This yes!!! This yes friend!!!
Actually I played this before 36, only here I placed them in order.
Hell, when I started playing this I liked it much. But still I continued with the good taste of the 27th, and thought that now was the best. But the more I was playing this, was gaining ground over its predecessor and more superb and perfect it seemed to me. With a crazy atmosphere, certainly here, everything flowed beautifully. I have not seen a map of these features with such flow. Wow, it was great to play and play. The enemies were superb, very well off work and cover all areas. And were only two that I liked, good combination. I liked the nod of the upper switch gauss and those mines combo. I also liked the idea that it could be completed without the same switch of which I speak, but it was more difficult and even much slower. And actually, I like to take that switch. Another strong point of this it is the great room in here for crazy jumpers between mines and nice trickers. Certainly with this map they will enjoy. The final stretch was also lovely.
In this I played much, given the difficulty a bit higher and cos I liked. At first I was around the 1300-1400f agd demos fairly clean and seemingly unbeatable myself. So being a little more fierce, discovered a route change and I liked it even more. In the end I tried to be a bit brave and get a good run, still much improvable of course.
This map, lfaber, is certainly, a high five ;)

Well, to conclude this crazy text block tedious to read, I will say that I am assuming that I missed the best maps and the best are in the other, and yet to be made. I must say that I enjoyed N during an hour and a half with these three maps, and I enjoyed it as long ago did not. Thank you. These maps are better than many of the consecrated. Seriously, lfaber, end this Vehemence thing and do the 50 maps left. You have so much potential and I strongly encourage you. I propose you that in some of them try to redirect your gaze, and do crazy things.
I'm anxious to see what you're capable of.
Thank you.

Sunset, I think anyone else is going to publish more maps to v4.
I think it's time to compile all of this, I do not know if you lost interest or you going to do, but I want to say that I can do it with pleasure, I have enough time and if you want I can compile the whole V4, I await your response. ;)
