My idea to stimulate NUMA is "Project Laser Focus"!

I was thinking of doing a random act of kindness for a lucky/deserving author on Numa. The idea is for people in this thread to nominate an author who you feel is under-appreciated in the community. The person doesn't need to be active. (Alive would be preferable though. Sorry spect.) When we have a sufficient list of nominees, I will create a poll for people to cast a 3 2 1 ballet. The idea is that whoever wins, will without warning have three random maps [suggested minimum] from their archive commented on (and voted on too, if you like) by anyone who cares to participate. It's supposed to be an act of goodwill, but there is, of course, no obligation to comment if you don't wish to.
When the winner is announced, we all play/comment random maps from their archive. (Try to spread them out, so they're not all clustered, and choose to comment on maps that you really like, as this is supposed to be an act of kindness, not malicious trolling.) I'm going to aim for 20 maps for the winner in total, but I might be optimistic in that request, since I have no idea if this thread will even take off. I just think it would be nice to make someone's day, as they open up Numa one day, and randomly see "34 maps with unread comments on it", and think the site has glitched or something; only to be pleasantly surprised that they have got a barrage of unsolicited comments from a bunch of different people for no apparent reason. Tell as many people as you can about this; everyone benefits from more activity.

My nomination is for DemonzLunchBreak. He's been around since 2006, and I think only two featured maps is — quite frankly — a travesty!

Not all projects are winners.
