The website is down, so...

I don't see a topic about this. This is 99turtle99 aka turtles aka I don't know if I was ever on this specific forum, but numa.notdot.net and nmaps.net and metanet.2.forumer.com don't seem to be working on my computer, so here I am.

I notice there is a reddit sub now. Is that where we are submitting our maps?

Thanks.

Hi turtle, yes the subreddit, www.reddit.com/r/numasub is where maps are submitted.
if you want to see a sort of archive version of NUMA: http://www.nmaps.net Make sure you have the "www"

You can... edit your posts. Not a big deal nowadays anyways.

Has the community really died so hard? A subreddit for maps is all that's left?
Dang.

There's work being done on fixing numa back up again. But yeah, the community isn't getting bigger

Holy shit Baraba, what's up. Not really, here's the thing: NUMA's system started perishing in 2013, I believe that hit hard on the mapping community. I say "believe" because I'm scarcely into the mapping, I mainly highscore. But essentially, NUMA went down for months, then it went up again but only sporadically, like, at certain hours of the day. Arachnid wasn't taking care of NUMA anymore so stuff was old.

Lately the domain had to be changed so it wasn't compatible with NReality anymore, and even more recently, map submission broke. That caused the subreddit to be created, but that was only very recently and, thankfully, temporary.

Arachnid transferred the domain to TempusFugit, and a few hours ago he and his brother have apparently fixed it, both the submission and the previous domain. I have the hopes this will last since there's now active people taking care of it. So everything should be working fine again, I'm sure you want to make and submit a map to test it out :P

I literally had no idea that a subreddit was made. Where is this subreddit?

It has since been closed/made private, it was r/numa i think. Sunset or Rose owned it I think?
