Updates on the situation:
We were able to get hold of Arachnid, thanks to Yanni. Him and I have been emailing back and forth for the last few days. I'm not going to reveal all the details as of yet but it seems that the situation is coming under control.
The website was not hacked, fortunately.
Arachnid has returned himself to admin status and is awaiting a response from those who may have been behind this.
Until then it's just a waiting game.
