After I complete an episode, the level data does not store in the .sol file. Local storage for flash is set at unlimited and there is still not .sol file in the localhost folder (acually, there is no localhost folder in the macromedia folder). I've tried reinstalling N and it did not help. I also tried changing the amount of data that is allowed to be stored, that did not help either. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you don't have that, you don't have the .sol file. You need to create localhost manually and .sol too. Be careful with that.

Something else that I've found in the past is that maybe you're not logged in? If you haven't already done so, create an account in the configure screen. That should let your computer make a localhost folder, and a .sol file.

Any idea on how I would go about doing that? The localhost folder should be in a folder with random letters/numbers, so I'm not sure how I would choose the name for that part.

Well, formatting your PC would be a answer to your question, but it would take long time, and too much crap.

Well, no need to localhost, go to C:>Users>Username>AppData>Roaming>Macromedia>Flash Player>Shared Objects>I suggest you to just type any numbers and letters randomly to here>some files that should be URL -should end with .com or etc.- >if you don't have a file named localhost, create one, and click it> create a .sol file and be sure that it's a notepad file.

Win.

I made a localhost folder inside a folder i titled "RXP9R54G" and then put a .sol file in it. I copied and renamed another .sol to "n_v14b_userdata." I then beat an episode and no data was saved.

fyi, I have a Mac. The file positions aren't too different though.

Make sure it's file type is 'SOL File'. Well, I don't know how to convert that, just search it around the web.

I found an old copy of my user data .sol file and put it in the folder I made. However, it still does not save data after I quit the game.

Hey, did you ever try going to the configure screen and logging in/making an account? I did that on a seperate computer that hadn't had N played on it to test this out. It didn't save my progress initially, but then as soon as I logged in it saved my data in a .sol.

I did. It didn't work though. :(
