The gameplay/ physics engine of N+ on XBLA is hands- down better than N_v14. The new enemies are great and work really well with the old, it's much easier to jump around on slopes, and running around with N is more satisfying and less fiddly than on PC. The extra options on NED for map size are also very nice. It's more varied and more polished than N_v14, and I really like that.

Of course, the new enemies are more or less not used at all and almost every level (excepting the 'guest' ones) felt like it was just churned out without any love at all. And without NUMA to provide more maps it's very, very hard to have any fun at all. Plus, level making is a much more painstaking process on the Xbox, and NED is the only reason I didn't get bored of N within a few weeks. And then there's the fact that v_14's slightly off physics engine gives a much higher skill ceiling, stopping you from mastering the game any time soon...

So v_14, but iunno if I'd still feel that way if it was ported back to PC.

N v1.4 has so much more history and a bigger community. I talk with my step brother about where I am on high-scores compared to the greats: xaelar, lat, Lim etc but doing that with N+ no way. Getting good at N+ just doesn't matter as much

Hey, I remember 1 level.
I got stuck on a launchpad and died, and the sound it created was AWFUL.
The corpse was stuck between the launchpad and the floor

N+ is really cool, i played once and liked it.
N_v14 is really glitchy. Maybe that's why i'm still playing it while 4-5 years. These glitches make the game so flowy, unlike the other flash games.

It's cool to have N on DS so I can play it anywhere, but it still doesn't get even close to n_v1.4. In N+ the bounceblocks suck, and there is no Numa or highscoring. And highscoring is the thing that makes n_v1.4 so awesome :)
