I actually liked 1.4 much better. It could just be the bounce block nonsense in the PSP version pissing me off enough, though.

I prefer the PC version. n+ actual levels really didn't impress me in terms of quality design, they seem clinical and uninspired while the original game's are much more idiosyncratic.

Regardless, Nv1.4 is still better in almost all regards. I just wish there were a simple way to add the new enemies in 1.4 without depending on Nreality code.

See, I got used to the physics in 1.4, though, so the first time I played N+ it felt like all of the levels were submerged in oil.Nonoke wrote:I prefer N+; the physics are easier for me to handle and my ninja doesn't slide around all the damn time. And actually stops when I want him to.

This may seem like a good thing at first, but you'll soon discover (if you get more skilled at the game) that these tightened physics properties are a drawback.Nonoke wrote:I prefer N+; the physics are easier for me to handle and my ninja doesn't slide around all the damn time. You can do so much more in N_v1.4, both gameplay-wise and mapping-wise.

Also I think the physics engine of N v1.4 easier and better, maybe becuase I had been playing N v1.4 long before N+ came out.
