*added poll*

I actually liked 1.4 much better. It could just be the bounce block nonsense in the PSP version pissing me off enough, though.

It's different.

I prefer the PC version. n+ actual levels really didn't impress me in terms of quality design, they seem clinical and uninspired while the original game's are much more idiosyncratic.

N 1.4, way more better than N+, in all ways. But it's nice we can play N in a handheld game console.

I prefer N+; the physics are easier for me to handle and my ninja doesn't slide around all the damn time. And actually stops when I want him to.

N v1.4 is better . N+ has slight bounce block physics problems.

Yeah. Nv1.4 is better. Also, the one ways on the ds, and the userlevel maker system. It was hard to use, relatively imprecise, and I could never find my levels after I submitted them.
But, I like the idea of a handheld n, the computer will always be better.

Depends on which version of N+ you get. I really like the Xbox Live Arcade game but I could imagine that I'd hate the PSP or DS versions.

Regardless, Nv1.4 is still better in almost all regards. I just wish there were a simple way to add the new enemies in 1.4 without depending on Nreality code.

See, I got used to the physics in 1.4, though, so the first time I played N+ it felt like all of the levels were submerged in oil.

I wish we could get some of the stuff from N+ implemented into the PC version, mind.

I like N_v1.4 better, mostly because the levels were better, and you could be as precise as you wanted with the nosnap. But don't get me wrong, N+ is still pretty good. It just doesn't hold up with v1.4 in some areas.

I can't choose one over the other. Therefore, I've chosen "no," as I think they're both equals.

I'll always like 1.4 better, mostly because that's what I played for the 4 or so years leading up to N+. As far as N+ goes, the physics are weird. Not bad necessarily, just different from N.

You'll get an almost unanimous v1.4 answer here. And I'm no different.

Ehh. For DS, im gonna say no. Its still N, but Nv1.4 has a better feel. N+ is better on a portable if you ask me. Then again, its fun on Xbox too...

This may seem like a good thing at first, but you'll soon discover (if you get more skilled at the game) that these tightened physics properties are a drawback.
You can do so much more in N_v1.4, both gameplay-wise and mapping-wise.

I played it on PSP, and the levels were very hard for me anyway. N 1.4 all the way!

N v1.4 is way better than N+.
Also I think the physics engine of N v1.4 easier and better, maybe becuase I had been playing N v1.4 long before N+ came out.

I don't like how N+ looks, I prefer the minimalism of N.

N+ would be better if Atari and Silverbirch hadn't handled it so badly. N 1.4 wins. In fact, NReality wins.
