I was talking to gloomp yesterday about music blogs, I was wondering which ones you guys read, more out of curiosity than anything.

Personally, I really like the torture garden. It's run by a guy from Ireland and has introduced me to a lot Irish independent music like Cathy Davey, who's album The Nameless was incredible, and The Villagers who just released a more mainstream album Becoming A Jackul. Both albums are absolutely fantastic. He also somehow manages a ton of interviews with indie artists for such a small self-run site, including The Antlers, The Decemberists, and DM Stith and features guest reviews by Ed Droste of Grizzly Bear, Red Hunter of Peter & the Wolf, and Jessie Stein of The Luyas.

Anyways, what about you guys?
People write to me and say, "I’m giving up, you’re not talking to me." I just write them a simple message like, "Never give up," you know? And it changes their life

About the only two that I read in more than a cursory fashion are KILLED in CARS and Continuo, despite the rather lengthy list of feeds one would find browsing through my bookmarks.
