This is the thread to post a picture of your computer setup wherever you are.

This is my setup at home. Also try to keep your images at a reasonable resolution, 800x600 would be preferred. If you're stuck try downloading the Windows XP Powertoy called Image Resizer and select Medium from the list.

This was taken the day I built this computer (last august), when the monitor wasn't working, so I had it hooked to my TV (its still hooked to my TV, but just as a secondary output now for video viewing). The setup is now considerably different (and in a dorm instead of my basement) so I might have to find a camera to get a new pic

I'll take a picture sometime soon. It'll be exciting.

Manufacturer: Dell
Processor: Intel Pentium D 1.6GHz Dual Core
Memory: 2GB
Hard Drive: 90GB (3 operating systems in that space) (I also carry around a 30GB external with all my photos on it. I'll probably upgrade that to 160GB pretty soon. Or I might put the 160GB in my laptop, which would make more sense. Except for I think my laptop has a SATA drive. Dangit.).
Video Card: Intel XM3100 (I think, I can never quite remember the number) integrated (isn't it amazing?)
Monitor: 15" WXGA+ TruBrite LCD (1680x1050) (with hinges, rubber bumperey things, and a shiny stripey pattern on the back. Also, stereo/cancellation mic array and webcam in the top)
Speakers/Headphones: Crap Dell internal speakers, crap Philips headphones, crap Logitech headset (but the mic connector is broken, and I haven't replaced it yet.)
Keyboard: Dell keyboard. Silver. The Dell keyboard type with the delete key in the upper right (standard on all the new Inspirons, I think)
Mouse: Touchpad. One of the fancy Dell ones where there's no break in the plastic between it and the palmrest.
Operating System: Microsoft® Windows Vista™ Ultimate OR Windows 7 OR Ubuntu 8.04

It's quite the powerhouse, I assure you. I'm going to get a desktop one of these days, but at the moment I don't have anywhere to put one (I'll pretend that money isn't the issue).
-- I might be stupid, but that's a risk we're going to have to take. --

Here's my workstation.
DSC01020.JPG
Model: Dell E520
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium + Ubuntu on flash disk
Memory: 2GB RAM, 3GB Pagefile
Processor: Dual Core Pentium 2.99GHz
Hard disk: 138GB internal (Windows partition, generic), 250GB external (Maxtor dual USB, used for general storage and PortableApps)
Flash disks: (from left to right) 2GB for development, 32MB for no reason other than antiquity, 4GB portable Ubuntu installation, 2GB PortableApps (not functional), 2GB PortableApps (not functional)
Sound: Stereo Dell speakers, Logitech headset
Webcam: Logitech, max res. 1280x960
iPod: Nano, 4GB
Monitor: 1280x1024 60Hz
GFX card: Not sure
Keybards: Dell, two (I play some really hard songs in StepMania o_O)
Mouse: Cordless, Logitech

I think that's a fairly exhaustive review.

Added 1.5Gb ram and a new gfx card.

Just had enough money really. RAM is dirt cheap. Unless it's a laptop.

faemir,

Is that a Zire 22? That better not be a Zire 22. I'm hoping, for your sake, that you did not just call a Zire 22 a "trusty" device.
