Anywho, I'm most used to Monopoly - it's the staple family board game.

Blokus. It's just amazing, really. You (the player) have more control over what your opponents do, because you can tell what pieces they have left and can block them up appropriately.

Warhammer, if it counts, as well as D&D, if it counts.

If not, games like Hero Quest, Battlemasters, and Stratego were always up there. Parcheesi is fun as balls, Risk is great, Monopoly is always a classic, Clue was amazing... I really, really like Board Games, apparently. Settlers of Catan was phenomenal. I could go on, but I'm tired and have shits to do.

I own face at Risk.
Settlers of Catan appeals to me, but no one I know has it and I don't play board games enough to buy it.
Cranium is also amazing.

My vote's on good old chess - it's the only game that people I know actually have. Monopoly comes second.

I don't know if anyone else did this, but when I was younger, my friends and I would mash up multiple board games and make a mega game out of them. :D

Monopoly + Chess + Pokemon Cards + Vampire Hunter was some crazyyy shitt.

Stratego, Monopoly, Scrabble/Upwords, etc. Aside from board games, I also enjoy Apples to Apples and more recently, a dice simple game I play with my friends at school called Zilch. We played a Civil War version of Risk in my history class a while ago. (and after that we played Railroad Tycoon 3! My history class is awesome!)
