Also, I open the door that is more far away from me. Closed my eyes so I can use my other senses better.

I played this live on IRC, so I got answers to things instantly.

Destiny
_______________________

Groggy from as if from a deep sleep, I open my eyes. I can feel the familiar dull thumping of a headache behind my eyes. Averting my attention, I realise I'm on a hard floor. And fully dressed. How unusual.

The sudden panic that fills me as my brain realises what my eyes have been seeing for some time now clears all thought of weariness, instead replacing it with confusion and fear. The floors and roofs are transparant, and I can see other people above and below me. Some are awake, whilst some others are still unconscious. I appear to be the first awake on my floor. Despite the disturbing scene i am witness to however, the knowledge that i'm not alone subsides my initial panic.

Standing up, curiosity begins to overpower my fear. The alien landscape i find myself ensared within suddenly seems a place of secrets. Of switches behind bookcases and stairways underneath statues. I find myself attracted towards discovering and exploring them. The questions of how when and why I was here stop seeming so important, and beginning my search becomes paramount. Compelled by this monstrous curiosity, I step towards the odd door out.

It's a grille, I notice with some interest. And through the glass floor below me, I can see that an elevator lies beyond it. There is a button next to the door. Not expecting much, I press it.

The results were as I expected. Nothing happened. Or at least, nothing noticable.

Deciding that the elevator can wait for later, I start my systematic searching of the rooms on my floor. 30 was the obvious starting point, so I start with room 31.

As I push the handle down, the door opens. Inside the room is an electric light on the roof, a bed against one wall, and a set of drawers next to it.

I search the drawers unsuccesfully, and in my disapointment check under the bed and drawers, in all the bedding and under the mattress too. Nothing reveals itself. A little sad, I leave the room.

32 being the next numerical room, I try that now. The handle doesn't budge, and is firmly locked. I decide that I don't like this door, and so get a run up and hurl my whole body weight into it, shoulder first. All that happens is that I bounce off, and gain a rather sore shoulder. Still having found nothing, i move to room 33.

I push down the handle and enter the room. Inside, there is no furniture except a small, discoloured rug. Each of the walls is a mirror, and two words are emblazoned on the ceiling. They read 'Resting Room'. As it's the only thing in the room, the rug draws me towards it. I lift it up, and find a piece of paper underneath. Unfolding it, the paper reads:

"A riddle to each room."

Scratching my head in perplexion, I leave the room.

I move some distance down the corridor to the door of room 34, and try the handle. Unfortunately, this one appears to be locked too, although the handle does give way partially. Feeling my shoulder twinge from the memory of last time I tried to ram one of these doors down, I decided that I better not.

Deciding that this isn't something I can do by myself, I relate my discoveries to those on all other floors, before sitting down against one wall in the corridor, wondering if pavel will ever wake up.

I pocket one of the broken candlesticks. It's always useful to have a weapon.

I then try to handle for door 51 and wait to see if anything happens
As I open the door, I see the room. On the other side of the wall, there is written:

"1-2-3" with the 1 circled.

Under that, is a box, that looks like a window. Under closer examination, there is a wall behind the mirror.

Also, there is a pad on the floor: a square panel.

As I turn around to leave, you see more writing above the doorway.

"Solve the triple room to see the way"

I examine the pad on the floor to determine whether this is anything interesting

As I examine the scratched sign next to the lift, I can see that it is actually loose in the wall.
Under it I see a patch of wall with the writing "Behind the 3rd wallpaper".

"What could that mean? Maybe it could refer to different sections of the wallpaper or maybe it could mean that there is something behind the wallpaper on the third floor. Or maybe it is something which I am not thinking of."

I also see a button next to the lift. When I press the button the grille slides open.
But for now leaving the lift open, I go examine the colours on the wallpapers on the first floor. While I am doing this I also look up to see whether the wallpapers' colour changes or remains same all the way to the top.
After my examination is complete I go back to Room 11 and pick up another chair.
I go back to the lift and then continue to the third floor.
I use the chair to try and break down the door to get into Room 34, the one which Destiny had failed to open.

Just listing all clues so far here to see if it makes any sense
  • "Find you way up and out."
"Welcome, to the Hotel Denouement. All Resting rooms will follow the RR"
    "A riddle to each room."
    "1-2-3" (With 1 circled)
"Solve the triple room to see the way"
    "Behind the 3rd wallpaper"

Peering down through the glass I can see "1..2,3..4" different rooms below me each with a small number of occupants. Looking at my body I realise why I'm so cold "I'm not wearing any clothes." I become intensly aware of a number of curious eyes starting to look up at my exposed body. "Eeek!"

Seeing an open and welcoming door labeled "51" I quickly run inside, "There we are, no more guys staring at my boobs."

I peer around the room and see...

But as you enter the lift, you see something that you normally wouldn't see in one. Instead of the normal buttons to push, you see a keyboard, perhaps to enter a password. You are stuck at floor 1.

I stand inside the lift holding a chair feeling stupid. I had thought this lift would be like any other lift but no.
Instead of the buttons on a normal lift, this one had a keyboard.
I felt a sudden urge to smash the keyboard with the chair I was holding. But I resisted it, after all I wouldn't want to render this lift unusable.
Thinking about the wallpaper clue I walk out of the lift leaving the chair.
My previous examination had told me that the whole first floor wall was cover with red wallpapers. The colours changed as they went on to other floors, but I couldn't make out the other colours as they had mostly faded away.
Unable to think of anything else I start ripping off ALL the wallpaper on Floor 1, using pieces of wood from the chair which I had broken earlier, where necessary, to make my job easier, while looking for anything unusual on the walls or maybe even on the wallpapers.

You hear a clicking noise, but nothing else. Looking at the window, you see it light up briefly, as if something was going to appear, but nothing does.

I walk inside and find a very strange picture inside.

"Hey, everyone! Come take a look! There's a strange picture here in room 23!"

Otherwise, it's a normal hotel room...with a plaque that says "The Monocorn shall reveal."

Bewildered, I walk out of the room and try room 24's handle...

I'm not allowed to post the picture here. Go inside the room and see for yourself!

If the door didn't open, it must have something heavy blocking it. How odd, but I decide to give up and move on. Fortunately, since I used my foot instead of my shoulder like a certain stupid someone (:3), I am unhurt. I try each door with a prime number in numerical order, and I walk into the first one that opens.

The button gets pressed, but glancing down at the lift on floor 1, it doesn't seem to be moving. Oh well.

You cruise on over to door number 26 this is sounding like a game show now and find...

Venting your feelings at the door only result in a sore toe.

But as you walk to door 28, you push aside that throbbing to focus on your walk.

You hold your breath as you push the handle.

It goes down.

Orange
==============

"Find you way up and out."

Awake.

Surface; cold, hard. Definitely not the stiff, unyielding mattress that I'm used to.

Oh God, my arm. No, no, no. This is no place to be in my condition. What happened to me? I slowly open my eyes, fearing the worst.

A perfectly normal left arm. I wiggle my fingers. I blink. I turn my head to look at my right arm. In working condition.

I close my eyes and lower my head back to the smooth glass floor. Clothing: a dark brown hoodie and grey jeans. Not hospital garb. Is it possible? Could I possibly have dreamed the whole thing?

No; it was real. The screech of tyres on asphalt, the grind of metal contacting metal, the crunch of broken bones. And then the sirens; I remember the sirens. It was real, all right. And yet these are the clothes I was wearing, not a tear to be seen.

A shot of realisation - did that mean that she was alive? She's alive! I try to stand up and instantly regret it. My bones aren't broken, but it feels like every part of me is bruised. I take a few deep breaths and decide to rest here for a while. Still, there's no forgetting what I saw when my eyes were open. A tower, a glass tower, rising up floor after floor. Two things are for sure; this is definitely not a dream, and I am definitely not alone.
