As strong as anything else they've done; Machu Picchu, Under Cover of Darkness and Life is Simple in the Moonlight are highlights.

Image
A tremendous achievement; in terms of visuals it's easily one of the best films ever made, (my signature and avatar are examples of this), and that's without any computer generated shots.

I'm still a long way from finishing this, but I've greatly enjoyed it so far.

Just bought three new books. You Might Be a Zombie and Other Bad News, 5 Good Reasons to Punch a Dolphin in the Mouth and John Dies @ the End. So far all three are hilarious. Also, Taken. Liam Neeson runs around France and kills people, unquestionably awesome.

I'm gonna start reading The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay after this, which will probably be awesome.

It will! There's a lot of weird Jewish stuff, but that's okay because there's also a lot of weird magician stuff.

I went to Matt Inman's book signing; he's just as funny in person as online. I added it to my wishlist.

Taken was quite dull for me. I just couldn't suspend my disbelief for it.

So you liked it? I think I like the staggered storytelling most. But I'm in love with Zooey Deschanel, and therefore I like the movie too.

Parks is amazing. Everyone watches the office so no surprise there, but I WAS surprised by how funny Community, Breaking In, and 30 Rock are.

30 rock is really funny for a bit, but I got sick of it. It's probably really really good as a weekly show, but watching whole seasons makes the show get old quickly.

Community I just don't get. Everyone seems to love it, all my mates are really into it. but it just seems like a kinda mediocre show to me. There's some good laughs occasionally but most of the time I just find it a bit dull

Breaking In I haven't heard of.

It was on FOX, had seven episodes in the first season, and just finished last Tuesday. Look it up on FBook or something, it's great. It's got Christian Slater and Trevor Moore from "The Whitest Kids U Know".

I watched all of Breaking In because it was only 7 half-hour episodes and I'm pretty sure that show didn't have writers... it had assassins. Honestly, pilot with the most promise with the most mishandled dénouement I've seen in a long time. Honestly, if the writing had been just average instead of seemingly intentionally awful, Christian Slater could have kept that show afloat for at least two seasons.

Ah well.

For a moment, I thought you were talking about Breaking Bad instead, and was about to be really pissed.

Code Geass. Never finished it last summer, so I took it up again a few days ago. I'm almost done, and I really don't even know how to emotionally respond to it anymore. The show is ruthless. I'm just trying to get to the end. :/

Edit: 1300th.

Just finished Catch 22 by Joseph Heller the other day.
Watched the Matrix a few days ago.
I enjoy Parks & Recreation, 30 Rock, The Office, Community, and Outsourced on a weekly basis.
Currently reading The Scarlet Letter.
Right now I'm musically obsessed with the bands DRMANHATTAN, Blane Fonda, Rodeo Ruby Love and Harley Poe.
The anime I'm watching right now is Deadman Wonderland.
