And at the end space people show up and the answers are all written in a cave? Is that the right movie? Reminds me of the newest Indiana Jones, but they both sucked.

Aside from the fact that that entire post was extremely tongue in cheek, he was certainly a late 80s icon. He was a part of the 80s "Brat Pack" and for a while he held that post-teenage cool that made him extremely popular.

Fizzled though, when he got dumpy I suppose.
