I like them. They are like merit badges.

Wait a sec. Why do we have to choose between badge and standard title, but not badge and custom title? Because I do like the badges, but the "Moderator" title is a bit redundant.
It's weird, the old forums used the same Avy/Title/Badge layout, but this seems so different, somehow.

Each of the "standard titles" is essentially an automatically-changing custom title, but the badge has to be assigned to one particular title. If you have a custom title, the badge can be assigned to that particular custom title - essentially, your "Moderator" title is just a boring custom one. You're right, though, it is a bit redundant, and maybe we should change it so mods and globals have a more bizarre default title of some sort.
That said, why don't you have a custom title, Pheidi? You should have a custom title.

Ah, that does make sense. As for the idea of a bizzare default title, I love it.Spawn of Yanni wrote:Each of the "standard titles" is essentially an automatically-changing custom title, but the badge has to be assigned to one particular title. And I've always thought that, according to forum etiquette, asking for a custom title is bad, so I never asked. ^^;;

Basically, because phpBB is stupid, it's done so that images can only be assigned to a particular title, thus changing it means the image has to be reassigned, like Yanni said.
IPB allows you to allocate them to user groups, while phpBB does it on titles. Don't ask, it's stupid.

I see also that nobody noticed that Orange is now mod as I have given up my Moderator position. So, all bug him about problems in Community Projects now. :P
