Also, anyone can make a teleporter, but the process of the award would be to congratulate an exceptional use, you aren't going to get a dronie just for making a teleporter :S

Can we actually do this? Expand the scope of the community officially? I think it'd be fun to bring in prizes for the other aspects of the community, such as the whole facebook face, and all the tumblrs.

and finally, The N Community Recognition Award, which will be community-wide, not just for NUMA.
I think the non-NUMA categories (Comic, fan program) don't apply this year.
That would make 17 categories, a prime number!

I think we should still reward innovation in mapping. The comment one seems ridiculous, maybe even desperate. Metanet and NUMA runs are separate, and should get individual categories. And I don't feel the Player one is necessary, since A) the highscoring community is very small, and B) the few who are active will most likely get nominations in the "runs" categories.Manus Australis wrote:Here are my ideas for Dronies categories this year:

I agree, except that I think keeping the player award is important--I want to justify this opinion, but I'm not sure how. It's just... fundamental, isn't it? Also retiles are dumb and so is your face.Aidiera wrote:I think we should still reward innovation in mapping. The comment one seems ridiculous, maybe even desperate.
