Not quite This Forum, but close enough.

The old forums look pretty messed up. Topics are unintelligible unless you highlight the text. Any idea what's causing that, or if it can be fixed?

It looks like imageshack just got plain old tired. I suppose those basic forum images have been using that filehost for quite some time and I theorize the company or organization as long since fallen out of relevance. That is the downside of letting someone host your files.

Probably should have just posted in here instead of making a new topic, zoas. I'm really hoping that there's a copy of the old forums somewhere though, and that they aren't all deleted.

You're right, sorry. just thought Pheidi spoke of them while still active. And these pictures of error.
I think that if there is no backup on Forumer of them, or tried to contact with php for this, there is sadly no solution.

All gone. Except I think someone spidered them when we moved here and still had the idea of importing in the old forum posts. Probably not the attachments though. But as long as people downloaded them, I'm sure someone will have them. Perhaps a recovery project is in order.

Yes, a recovery project would be appropriate. In principle there could be two, one to recovery mappacks and another to fan programs. I keep some of the old packs, as Vehemence and Camisade Collection, E Project and some more. I can commit to make and work in the Thread to mappacks recovery.

Sorry to bump but did somebody really backup the old forums? Because it would be bitchin' to have them, too much to be lost there.

To the best of my knowledge, no. Since we weren't hosting them, I don't think we'd have access to backups of it. :(

The old forums most definitely were copied when we moved to these ones. Whether anyone still has the data is another story, perhaps.

Well, if this is a thing, I have a bunch of old mappacks perserved. Including but not necessarily limited to:
Barabajagal - The Complete Compendium
Dronies 2008
Legacy Anthology and the original Legacy Pack
SUNSHINEscience
Camisade Collective
Christmas pack 2008
False Ending
Fantasque Rever
Laser Light Love
Mirage Explosion
Nomoons
Project 42
The course and the maps for St Atilla's college for ninja
The Continued Column
Vehemence
I may have more, but it would require me to look through some floppys, which I can try if there's interest.

Wrong thread. See here: http://forum.droni.es/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=9614

From you list:

-Dronies 2008? Sure why not.
-Anthology would be fantastic, but we have Legacy.
-Christmas Pack 08 pls.

And then what you should do is look through the catalog for any packs from ~2008 and before and see if you have them and they haven't been added yet. :3

Not quite sure I get the Keron Cyst reference. I thought LV did the magic.

Epic.

Though my custom title is gone ;_;

I mean, it was bloody brilliant. "Everyone's favourite 5-digit guy!"

Admins, make 29403 happy.

Then let's get more activity on the old forum or there would be no point in returning titles.
LV turned the thread here about the revived board into an announcement. EddyMG was the one who notified me about the migration of Forumer boards to Yuku, and I worked with Yuku staff to make sure it was moved.

But we already have forums... "more activity" on the old forums will just dilute the community further.

Yeah, agreed with sxmt, unless droni.es stops working like ninjarobotyeti did.
