Interesting you [Jp27ace] are doing Maths as well, I know zaps is doing them as well, so thats 4 people already, wow considering how unpopular Maths tend to be (at least here) thats impressive
Ah, I was told you studied it. Murcia? I know that place well. I have absolutely no idea where that is :(
Yeah, I study it at the University of Surrey. What year are you guys in? And what modules are you currently doing?

That is impressive. Though I always find it funny how surprised people are when I tell them I do maths. Statistically speaking, it's quite a popular subject.

I'm just about to do a placement year! If I get one...

I'm on my very first year. Not sure what a module is (we don't call anything like that here), but if it refers to the subjects/disciplines, then Analysis I and II (single variable), Linear Algebra, Affine and euclidean geometry, Sets and numbers, Topology of metric spaces, Probability and statistics, two programming subjects, and Physics, for a total of 10. (hope those rough translations made sense).

What about you?

Ah Nice! Here we tend to call the subject Maths, and the "subgroups" of that subject the modules.
We do 8 modules each year, 4 each semester (or term), and I'm in my second year.
In the first year I did Algebra, Probability, Real Analysis I, Calculus; Classical Dynamics, Modelling & Experiment, Linear Algebra and Vector Calculus.
So far this year, I'm doing Linear Algebra, Real Analysis II, Curves & Surfaces and Ordinary Differential Equations.

What's Affine and Euclidean Geometry? It sounds cool :)

Oh cool :D Yeah it sure sounds cool, but I haven't started it yet (its one of the 5 modules for the second semester). But for what Ive read, its basically the regular geometry:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euclidean_geometry#Axioms
I'll have be able to tell more in some months.

Oh, right. I was just wondering if you'd actually get to do any sketching at all. Like, perhaps, if you'd prove how it is impossible to solve the age-old classic, "doubling the cube" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doubling_the_cube), using only a compass and a straight edge. It seems like you might, you lucky man.
You see, in curves & Surfaces, for example, there is almost no sketching whatsoever :(

Interestingly, my mum studied Math at uni, then Railway engineering. I have to double check with her which university that was exactly, so bear with me. And my cousin, Anna did modelling of coal burning. I quite liked Math at college, especially messing around with electrodes :D PM me if you want to know more! (tsk)

Darn you for taking this: http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/nv2.html?l=17244. To get it back is like trying to shove cinderblock into a thread needle. but nonetheless, great run. I added too many jumps onto my run, and the lack of short jumps upon the middle portion was excellent. I'll see what I can do there.

Honestly is this level http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/nv2.html?l=19470 too difficult to play?

Honestly... yes... I mean it uses the same type of challenge that made b7-4 such a bitch... and its on an angle... its not unbeatable but it would take too long and there comes a point when the payoff(if self satisfaction counts as a payoff) isn't worth it...

Hi everyone, decided to stop lurking thanks to James_S. This also seems to be interesting topic.

http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/nv2.html?l=13390 (name is url too) and sentinel by M4xwell, exit 21 by lamus123 - other exit 20's are also interesting. Delta by me.

Couple of those only beaten by creator and me such as some Deeries by Nireco and exhale by Sinan B.
Thwumprun and Electrospiral have both been beaten in 1.4 and now in 2.0 by few, but still good levels.

Ello mate. Good job for taking the leap from incoming lurker to professionally unprofessional newcomer! Hope you have a good time here on the forums.
Also: Honestly didn't think Sentinel was beatable ( i would usually mess up on the middle-right portion and give up) but you did it pretty well-done. I'll check upon your Delta map and see if i can beat it. But, overall, welcome.

Tried to replicate the brokenness of trapdoors in those Dedication to Fujita levels on Delta and Eternity, but it turned out to be either annoying or looking stupid. Didn't realize there is also (FINAL) before now.

One circle retaken with new route. I still can't believe how fun map I created in few minutes. I really enjoy trying new routes in this one.

Hey Condoud..

I have 0th on my '' Simple challenge 005 v2 E.M.G special. (not really, its not a hard map)'' No surprise at all that I remade it to spice up the jumps! -Btw there's also a v2.1 (Apollo added to the title :) ) only with an extra foothold that you wouldn't use on the faster route.
I guess Im posting mostly for Eddy to try v2

Can anyone tell me (and/or record it too) if this map is beatable? It's a harder twist of out of reach (http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/nv2.html?l=13443) with a legitimate Do-or-Die knowledge and N-professionality (NEW WORD). It seems a little too difficult for me to play all the way (Although i have a very outdated computer AND with that i went up to the final 2 platforms above). It's very hard yet it is a very fun and very relieving map to beat (of course only in my dreams would this ever go past the userlevels and not into something bigger)...
