Hey there guys, I'll soon (hopefully) implement an easy way to calculate your total level and episode scores from N++ via NHigh++, and when this is done we can use this thread to battle for total score and publish periodic leaderboards.
This is not coded yet, and unfortunately unlike in v1.4, there's a chance you might have to do it yourself, i.e. nobody will be able to get your total score except you. This is not entirely true, but it's harder to compute it for a different person because you need to have had N++ opened recently in order to be able to communicate with Metanet's server using your Steam ID, which you need in order to retrieve your personal scores.
This means that, like in the old days, we will need to rely on people posting their scores here, and not lying. I don't think lying will be a problem, and I'm already thinking on a way to prevent this (maybe via creating a hash that I can check with NHigh++), but unavoidably leaderboards will always be kind of outdated because we will have the last score the player decided to post. Again, as in the old days.
This is what makes having this thread much more relevant, so that people post it here and we can keep dedicated leaderboards, which I will myself maintain updated in this first post. Also, having this kind of thread definitely encourages competition, at least, it did in the old days, although these forums look slightly less active nowadays.
