  • Geej and joshgiscool were the first to pop in my head.
  • ]{no3 was an excellent n-artist & i miss his work.
  • And of course Technochocolate, he disappears for months at a time.
  • Then SundayMorningCall, though he went by a multitude of other names.. i think one of them was evil_sire. But he was really cool despite everyone bashing his flaming and multiaccounting and all the other 'illegal' stuff.
*EDIT: SMC's other name I was thinking about was evil_sire. But I rarely known him as that.

Erik-Player is still around, and is not anything you claim he is.

Right. A guy who went out of his way to upset people and ruin their days /constantly/ was really a cool guy?

The community is 100x better off without him.

I miss NUMA when Maximo, tktktk, nevermore, stepself, etc.. were active. Some of the best maps ever made were produced then, and I've never felt as inspired in the context of the community as I was back then.

Umm... yeah, in my eyes that's wrong. I'm not defending his actions, but some of you just told me to take bullying and being treated with disrespect as good fun. Except that apparently doesn't/didn't apply to this guy. I let it be just good fun and hey guess what?! He stopped all that with me and we got to know each other a bit. Then once, I gave him a dedication and check out his response. So yeah, I think he made the community more complete when he was here.

The Old Forums, Circa 2008

I went there and said it. Somehow to me the community has lost its shine that it had back in the years around '08. I don't know what it was or is, but yeah.

True... it's been very different these days. It was more laid back then, and not much was taken too seriously (I mean mapping, custom titles) and there weren't too many mods as there are here.

It feels a bit stiff now. Too serious.

All you late '08ers, '09ers and '10ers need to relax. It's N!
