I'm Calum T. I'm 17YO. 6' 2". 14-15 stone, ~90 kg. My grip is over 800 Newtons, my thumbs broke through the scales with the pressure at that point. I can smash a shuttle cock hard enough to bruise form the back of a badminton court. I have the scariest eyes that I've ever seen. I lost the ability to urinate while standing up for over 10 years after discovering the beauty of the sit-down-pee. I regularly drink over 50 units of alcohol in a single sitting and expect to die from alcohol poisoning at any time. The only films that have ever scared me are Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs and American Psycho. The former because I was about 2 at the time, and the latter because I realise how similar I am to the protagonist and I don't want to kill my friends. I'm scared of nothing except my possible mental instability and my friends being hurt. I feel like I have the potential to succeed at anything but I don't know what I should do.

If I'm correct, not that I pride myself on Geography, we're actually a few hundred meters above sea level - with hills right next to our city centre. Melbourne is the one at sea level...
lol only a few HUNDRED meters above sea level? I live in holland and most of holland is Below sea level.

The Comic That Gets Progressively Better

Overall... It's getting progressively better. I'm a bit interested to see where it goes from here.
Think you have ideas worth contributing to my comics? If so, PM me your idea and I might put it in my comic. And, of course, your name will be cited in the comic.

I've been using Dvorak for a few months, and I can no longer type on QWERTY without looking at the keys.
Also, if you want to learn Dvorak, I suggest working through this. It takes a while, but after doing it you should almost be ready to stop using QWERTY. Also, I suggest trying to avoid QWERTY when possible while you learn.

I tried to read through everything, but I ended up skimming over a lot of it. The ones I did read were interesting, though.

Heh, since I made that post, I had already succeeded in going cold turkey on the Dvorak. It's all I've been using for the last few months, and I've almost entirely forgotten Qwerty.
I'm almost as fast as I once was with Qwerty, but I think that's damned good considering that I'd been using it for the better part of a decade and learned Dvorak as recently as I did.

...and I used an almost laughably primitive program called dvorak7min for UNIX, other than continuing to do what I normally do on the computer but using Dvorak instead.

I really need to come to This Community more; I should have done this months ago.
Name: Alexander Leach (Nick: Alex)
Age: 14
Livin' in: Auckland, New Zealand
What I like: All sorts. I play tennis for a club and I'm getting better. I make sigs, which is one of my favourite pastimes (besides N). I make userbars, but I think it died. I enjoy gaming, but I don't do it heaps. I love billiards, and I've been playing on my grandfather's table since about 7. I also make tilesets on N (I think I should elaborate on that. I'm not sure if this has happened to anyone, but I actually got good at this overnight. Literally, one day I thought "Hey, I should make tilesets". Next day I made a thread and I've been getting better ever since). Also, as of today, I'm part of the Y&BB.
Plans for Uni: It's too early to decide, but I might do something involving design/engineering.
Favourite Bands: Daft Punk, The Ian Carey Project, The All-American Rejects, Linkin Park, Fat Freddy's Drop, Dixie Chicks. (Yeah. I love it all)

Hey,

Thanks to everyone who's responded. I said I'd get back to everyone, and I will. We'll be on holidays in Batemans Bay for a week sometime soon, and there I'll have time to look through all of the responses (I've already saved them).
