The Other Boelyn Girl, Bangkok Dangerous, Manos: The Hand of Fate, Battlefield Earth, and Twilight are all vile.

Plan 9 from Outer Space is widely regarded as the worst movie ever made. Most of the scenes are shot on the same set, from different angles, and Bela Lugosi actually died in media res, so they used a body-double with a cape over his face for the rest of the movie.

It's truly hilarious and worth watching, needless to say.

I would argue that Manos is worse and more hilarious than Plan 9.

No, no. That's stupid. If Twilight fans wear Team Edward and Team Jacob shirts, Whedonites wear Team Angel and Team Spike shirts.

I agree, though it might just be because I only saw the mystery science 3000 version of Manos: The Hands of Fate.

To this day I still wonder what the heck was wrong with that one servant guy's pants/legs.

And, yeah, Twilight.

i watched LASERBLAST with some friends recently. It's a good thing the mystery science theatre crew was there, because i'm pretty sure we would have all died from watching the original version.

I am dangerously bored this evening, because I just sat through Manos purely on its mention here. I am torn as to whether or not it is the worst movie I've ever seen. I have seen some very bad movies.

Aside from what others have said, I'll throw in Ultraviolet.

Hold on. While I agree that Bangkok Dangerous was pretty awful, I don't think it deserves to be listed in the same league as these other movies.

I resisted on District 9, and Bangkok Dangerous was the other one I hesitated on. BD is incredibly stupid and boring and illogical even by it's own followings. Couple that with awful performances and mysterious direction *and millions of dollars and it's fucking horrid.

Don't forget the poignant parting shot of Kong on a pier. Or something.

Ew. Here is a review of Eragon written by my dad (he occasionally writes for Filmcritic as a favor to a friend). I think it sums up my views pretty well.

Twilight and Eragon. I was forced to see Twilight because we were a bunch of friend just hangin' out everyone instantly wanted to go Twilight.

Also the English lessons was quitted for a few lessons because of an unknown reason (estimated cause: Tunco. ;D) and they made us watch that movie to spend time.

Meh.
