This is meant to be a replacement for all the singular Pokemon threads that have and are bound to continue popping up. It'll also be a repository for friend codes for battling and trading.

Diamond/Pearl/Platinum use the same friend codes

As do Heart Gold/Soul Silver

Or at least I think they do since you're supposed to cross-play the games.

The distinction is largely for trading purposes. For instance, I wouldn't ask Seneschal if he has a Stantler he can trade me.

I'd really like a Growlithe, by the way, for any HeartGold players.

I have Soul Silver, but haven't gotten up to getting the Pal Pad yet. Will post friend code when I get it.
Also, I would love it if Ninteno got a DS Network or something so we can just have accounts for every game.

Just found out I'll be getting SoulSilver for Easter. I'll post with the Friend Code and such when I finally set up my DS for WiFi.

The WiFi in my house is fucked up. Meaning no trading or whatever for me. ;_;.

This especially sucks for Tanner, seeing as how I was going to give him a Darkrai. Oh well. You're loss.

Also, Pheidi: Who the fuck gets presents for Easter? I only get little baskets with those marshmallows birds and such, as well as a random assortment of random other candy. And Silly Putty. And I barely ever get those anymore.

It's not every year. Usually, it's just the chocolates and jelly beans and such. The last time I got a gift-gift for Easter was when I got the C3PO Lego set, around the time Star Wars Episode I hit theaters - that is to say, quite some time ago.

Edit: Oh man, I missed the obvious "a long, long time ago." That's embarrassing.

Episode One was when a lot of people's childhood's ended.

Just got all 16 badges in SoulSilver, beat the Elite Four again and beat Red for the last time. Now time to sidequest!

Also, thread updated.

Breloom is badass. Spore + Focus Punch. Poison Heal + Toxic Orb + Facade. Throw a Seed Bomb in there for type coverage and STAB and that shit gets overpowered.

I've always been a fan of Tyranitar. I've got a Lv100 one that's been fighting by my side since Leaf Green.

Watching Liam die over and over again did kill some crucial part of me. Conscience, maybe.

EDIT: Jigglypuff is, and will always be, the best, cutest, sweetest, /pinkest/ Pokemon ever dreamed onto the screen.

Tanner, do you still want a Growlithe? I've yet to get my HeartGold code, but I can catch one quickly where I am right now.

So bad, dude. You have no idea. Want a Vulpix in exchange? Or something else? Do you come on IRC? I'm available most of the time after 6PM EST.

I've spent the day playing around at the Battle Frontier. I didn't have Platinum so this is all new to me. There are some neat things. It sort of feels like they've nerfed Tower Tycoon Palmer's team, though. His Milotic has no bite at all anymore where it was fucking fierce in Diamond/Pearl.

Togekiss also gets the flinchhax. Combined with Thunderwave and Air Slash you stand no chance :P

I really need to get my legit copy of this game, in English (Rather than partially translated). I also need to get the stuff I levelled on the R4 over to my Pearl so then I get to keep them.

I'm choosing Totodile, and it will be nicknamed Gatrade.

My Togekiss has Air Slash and Nasty Plot but I put Roost and Aura Sphere on it instead of Thunderwave. No point in being bulky if you can't recover and Aura Sphere gives really awesome type coverage.
