[Put under Tabletop Gaming because while the cards do not physically exist, it's closer to a tabletop game than a console game.]

A friend of mine introduced me to this yesterday, and I'm completely hooked (which is bad considering finals start soon -_-). Give it a whirl. And if you see me on IRC over the holidays, challenge me to a game!

...Huh. Intriguing. Playing as we speak. I'd call it a mix between Magic and Siege. Neat. I'll definitely be playing over the coming weeks.

I dove into Entropy without so much as looking or reading the rules, and I've been sort of pleased with it. I'm currently running an Entropy/Time build that I'm doing okay with, although I can see opportunities for some crazy shit in Fire, Aether, and Darkness with Deflagration, Lightning, and Steal respectively. I might end up doing a Fire/Aether/Darkness build here soon to see how that'd pan out, but I fear it'd suffer to card disadvantage really quick. I'm enjoying all the card-draw that Time has to offer, and I've got some neat Deja Vu/ Mutation tricks going down that are working relatively well thusfar, but I have yet to get into any of the rare cards yet, and I've only played up to Level 2, so we'll see.

Also, it's 6 AM, and I'm still up from this stupid game. Worse than PoxNora.

Jeez, with so many options, it's hard to know where to start. I usually like to look up a whole ton of statistics before making a first move because I like making informed decisions, but in this case I think practical experience will screw up any intuition I get simply by looking over objective descriptions. It was a tough choice, and I don't think I'll regret it (learning experience if anything), but eventually I went with Bulbasaur.

Yeah, guys, this game is evil. I too, chose Entropy, but as soon as I saw the Firefly Queen at the Bazaar I was in love. I'm now working an Air/Life/Light deck, but it's hard to win consistently. It's a work in progress.

I've got a few different decks that I can be pretty proud of. Mono-Death looks absolutely frightening if you get a good draw, and there are a couple combos that I fear inherently. I'm still Entropy/Time, and I've fiddled with splashing Aether a bit to not very good effect. I'm all about taking someone on, but more along the lines of a time when I can coherent.

I've mostly been rocking a kind of Fire/Electricity/Rock combo, and it's been serving me gloriously for the time being, but I'm not sure how it's going to hold up in the long run (and I don't think I'm quite ready to battle any of you guys yet). I beat the first gym using mostly Fire-based attacks, which I understand is a little weird, but from here on out I know Geodude is going to own face.

I have to say I started with Aether.... and it came coupled with Entropy cards. Suddenly I made crazy shit happen. Especially if you grab the Mindgate and Fractal cards... definitely my style I suppose. I put in some time there also due to Fate Eggs and wanting to Draw Cards. And then... then Something really cool went down. I used Mutation on a completely useless card Spark/Deja Vu after splitting and it turned into random creature with random ability... (Like a Golden Dragon but With Growth... until it went up into the 20s of Attack and Defense) You can guess what happened next. Parallel Universe followed by Parallel Universe followed by Parallel Universe. Maybe I'll put some Darkness in there too.

As the game goes just grab anything and everything and then make your own style and go from there. But I would prefer to fight you sooner than that. Also my Charmander learned Metal Claw... never mind I have a Mankey and Butterfree. Kekekeke

I'm doing nutty shit, and it's doing nutty shit to me. I'm currently attempting six copies of each card that I deem necessary for competitive play. What's really crazy is that there are upgraded cards and shit too. This is pretty hardcore.

Just upgraded my first card! Working on turning my Firefly Queen deck into a Nidoqueen Elite Queen deck. I will then proceed to kill everything with fire.

If you were able to upgrade one of your cards in 4 days of playing... it's time to take a chill pill.

You mean an Ice Bolt?

... maybe you're right.

Still, it's actually not that hard to amass coins if you're smart about it. Your winnings increase if you win with full HP, and I have 2 Heals, 2 Holy Lights, and a Druidic Staff in my deck, so I do that often. Also, the Oracle gives you a small bonus every day, and you can sell the cards you win by roulette. It took me a few days to get my deck to win consistently, but now that I'm winning about 4 of every 5 games (barring the occasional series of bad draws) the rewards add up quickly.

1,500 for a upgraded card really sucks.
