Wow! I feel really honoured to get to the top of your list and consequently 3rd on this NUMACON. Even more since you're a pretty critical and exquisite player and pleasing you is always a challenge. It is nice to me that was just that map I created with lot of artistic effort you liked because I made it conscientiously not only by making it minimal and 'less' but also making it conceptually less and thought about a concept that would fit properly the theme as it was the less gravity idea. So, thank you really much!
About the letting-that-the-community-choose-the-next-NUMACON-theme idea I think is great, I actually had a list of about 12 themes that I thought some time ago for something like a full year of NUMACONS, but I think I will reserve them and send to you personally via pm, because actually I really liked too much the idea for one of retiles of N maps themed and I already voted for it (but also because it is quite similar to one that I had in my list) and because I think this community is full of awesome re-tile makers as you, Wizard2, trance, ChrisE or the cool but almost forgotten (not forgot by me, though) IMPOSTERS mappack, and I also really like re-tilesetting as a cool and interesting mapping process, so I hope we'll go up with it. Anyway, I'll send to you my list of themes for future editions for you to choose, I think there are pretty interesting temes that were never used/proposed yet.
EDIT: In terms of the retiles of N maps theme, mapper participants may choose personally between the 500 maps from the original game? Or you will offer some concrete ones on which to work? Because I think it would be much, frankly much more interesting if there will be a proposed list of a small number of them, for example 5, and that the participants are forced to choose only between those and work with those (or with the consequent possibility to work with all the five) but that way we can will have more depth in mapping terms, and we'll see closely the differences on mapping styles, ideas and skills having a small number of them to compare between each other and to see how different each mapper approach the same maps. Having 500 of them that essence will be completely lost.
