Already completed the game, going through it a second time to see how good I can get my runs, then slapping them on Youtube. Because why not?

I'll update this thread every time there's a new row added. So far row A has been done.

Row number B is done. Same link as in the above post. Highlight on this one for me was all-golding 'the legend of the gold on that one level'. I get most or all of the gold on most of the levels, actually. Except for levels where the gold isn't worth the time profit in a highscore sense. You know what they say, time is money. Space is also time. Time, money, and space, the go(l)dly trinity of N!

Ok, row number C is up. If we could all just calm down, I don't want to cause a riot here or anything ;-}

I suspect they'll be slowing down a heck of a lot from here on out. Row C had me doing things I honestly didn't think I'd be able to do on my first run through the game.

nonplusplussed makes me feel like a wimp, it's a tricky level, but when the rocket gets added, the only thing I can do is peace out.

nonplusplussed is the kind of level which makes me happy that m&r didn't outsource the N++ mapmaking process.

Avid viewer. Make sure you release a "best runs" compilation when you beat the game.

Yeah, m+r's level design is part of the whole appeal/aesthetic of the core challenge/experience of N.

There are some levels here that I feel I'll never be able to all gold. But then, as I said earlier, I'm already doing things now that I didn't think I'd be able to do on my first run through. All golding 'go fish' seems literally impossible, but what makes N exciting is the knowledge that I could do it. You level up in the game by being a better player, and dealing with stress better. I actually think playing the first N when I was younger helped me in real life by teaching me how to deal with stress and feeling like the odds are stacked up against you.

What can I say, platforming is life ;)

I'm glad someone's enjoying my run videos. I will certainly compile the best bits when I'm done, as well as footage from my own levels I'm making. I do find it's nice to play them on 2x speed as there's a lot of footage. It also makes my playing look awesome so that might have something to do with why I enjoy it.

Alright! The Dth and Eth columns rows are done! (I'm never gonna get used to that...)

Got some killer highscores again, and still I'm learning more stuff and doing things I thought I wouldn't be able to do. Playing N is like learning to play an instrument, there's always new nuances to master and techniques to try.

Next up, the final row. I am getting these done a lot quicker than I thought I would, partly because I'm getting better and partly because N is taking up a lot of my (all of my) free time. But I'd like to take my time with this one.

Once those are done I'll move onto either the Legacy or the Intro levels.

I AM THE CONTENT CREATOR

Ok, the X levels are done. Check out my high scores, dudes and dudettes! I've also made a start on the Legacy levels, blowing through the A row and now starting on the B row.

Productivity, alas, I knew you well. May we meet again in some distant slab of spacetime...

You still didn't give us your steam profile, so no way of checking out your runs. The link you put in your forums profile goes nowhere.

Well, it's kinda confusing, and I've not gotten much feedback. With two steam names and a profile ID and no prior usage of the social aspect of Steam, it was a bit of an enigma. However, I think I've sorted it out. My steam ID is surfingonsquarewaves and my profile ID should now work in my forum profile. Fingers crossed :)

Also, Legacy B is done! Aaaand I should really go to bed.

Well, I beat the main portion of the game, the legacy levels and the intro ones just for fun. Now I'm going through some of the earlier runs which are painful for me to watch and TRYING, SERVER WILLING to post a better score and get the video up for bragging rights and entertainment purposes.

I'll also be posting myself beating all of my user levels, of which there are around eight. Then I'll move on to others' userlevels that I like.
