Throughout our days on this planet, we have almost never seen a single day of peace. The bloodshed simply has never stopped. Jews against Muslims against Christians, Terrorists against the World (true) and simply the strongest countries go for the most resourceful countries. With the war in Afghanistan (Hey I spelled it right! :D) going on, and a president not doing anything to stop it, I hardly doubt there will be a real, true peace. Who we need is for a group/body of people from around the world who both support the same ideas and thoughts to unite the world in complete Utopia.

This idea has, indeed, been fantasized by many scholars, as well as other people. But it will never come unless we all settle our differences.

With an able body message abroad, I leave, for now.

In the history of cinema, the world has never seen a director as good as Stanley Kubrick. Sure, there have been derivatives. Certainly, one can trace the influence of Spielberg or even perhaps Lynch, for all of his striking visual quality. However, I don't see a usurper in the near future. Film is becoming more art-pop. Actors are becoming niched. The process of filming itself has become digital, making it so much easier to lose the most brilliant and subtle shots and "fix them in post".

So says we all.

With a humble and direly related message,

That's why everyone except the cinematographer will tell you that the story is made during editing.

I actually think that chief editor and cinematographer are becoming more important every year.

I've been thinking about this before.

War is going on around us, there's no doubt about that. It's been going on as far back in time as we know - Greeks, Romans, the Spanish Armada... you get me. At that time it was about land, or gold or other prizes, or just to prove they were better, I presume. Nowardays, wars are over oil, produce, freedom, and significantly religion. And even if there's not wars like this going on, there's always the little fights and brawls in kiddies' playgrounds, in school, over the internet. Or bullying, right?

I don't think know if there'll ever be a point, not as long as I live for, anyway, where everything in the world will run like water from a tap.

So here's what I thought, even if it does sound crazy. What if war is peace on Earth?

Oh yeah, assuming that even the nature itself continue and/or survive by war (I mean, a specie needs to kill the other one to live, e.g. food chain) until all the living beings die on this planet peace can't be achieved.

Also your statement is seems really assertive, but I agree with you. Since life existed on this planet, there was war. There is war, right now, at this very moment, somewhere in the world, people are dying. So if war is the only way living things could get along with each other, yes, war is peace on Earth.

Oh, he's promoted it plenty of times.

He's never facilitated or created it, but he has promoted it.

I'm pretty sure it is impossible for every living being on the planet to be content with existance. That would require a total unification of moral values, and for every lunatic to suddently become 'sane'.

Isn't unification of moral values an inevitability of Evolution?

Slappy, that may be true, but that doesn't mean we can't unify some parts of the world. If you unify atleast some people, more people will want to come. The bigger, the better, as they say.

Oddly enough, many such unified areas exist...most of them are known as "countries".

As long as two or more human beings exist, there will be conflict of one kind or another.
