In a perfect world, i think buisnesses should definately have a right to choose. I think history has shown us that this is not always a good thing, though.
Also, as a matter of some related interest, while serching for that photo i found this;

The restaurant owner/s should be allowed to choose their customers.
However they shouldn't choose who to reject on the basis of their sexual orientation. If they had a valid reason, like for example they were carrying weapons, or were known criminals, then that would be fine.
Anyway, that's my opinion.

I totally agree with this. I think organizations that receive public funds (governmental organizations and organizations supported by the government) are obligated to serve all, but private businesses are free to deny service to whomever they want, because they receive no support from those that they deny.Techno wrote:Honestly, it's really the restaurant owner's loss of money.

I agree - a private organization is one's own, and just like one should be able to deny their personal belongings to someone, one should be able to deny the services of a private organization. I don't agree with the restaurant's decision, but if the restaurant owners want to do so, let them do so.DemonzLunchBreak wrote:It seems to me like private organizations should reserve the right to deny their services to anyone of their choice, regardless of the reason (and no matter how ridiculous that reason is).
