Peta is flippin retarded. I was watching the video that made my brother go vegetarian, and it was just brainwashing.
They had a bunch of indie enviromentalists on there talking about atrocities that happen to animals on a daily basis. They then showed a video of a pharmaceuticals lab, where they were doing research on a bunch of animals. They were locked up in cages. They were saying that this lab was violting animal rights, blah blah blah. But what really got me was that it was a PHARMACEUTICALS lab. All pharmaceuticals labs have to test on animals, or they can't give it to humans. That means that if any PETA members are breaking their own rules by taking medicine. If they care so much about their damn animals, then, i challenge all PETA members to stop taking their medications.
Permanently.
I'll bet you that 99.9% of all of them will not stop medicating themselves.

Finally looked through that online book. Was that seriously put out or created by PETA? That just doesn't seem to be the kind of material I'd expect from them. Then again, neither is the attempt to rebrand fish as "sea kittens", so I guess it shouldn't surprise me too much.
