KJV puts it a touch differently
Romans 1:27 (King James Version; LDS annotated): "And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their *lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and recieving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet"

That passage certainly seems quite straightforward on the point. If I want to refute homosexuality being against the Bible (Which I don't entirely want to, I'm content to disagree with the bible) I must question the accuracy of that verse. A great deal of the modern bible is known to be inaccurate to the original inspired text; it's very possible that some monk down the way (or more likely a series of monks, each with small changes) has modified the verse to clarify it, that clarification being in opposition to the verse's original intent.
