a) "Black hole" isn't the best example to present that sort of argument, considering the logic behind the term makes a whole lot of sense.

b) Friggin' idiotic argument in any situation.

I'm totally going to refer to them as #000000 holes from now on to avoid giving offence. Or we could remove the word "black" from the dictionary, and use sable instead.

on the bright side, from here we can easily go onto saying that 'White Noise' and 'Yellow Fever' are very discriminatory, as well.

If that man wants to use the term black to refer to himself, then he needs to deal with the fact that western colour symbolism attaches negative meaning to black.

This is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. How do you go around and come up with the idea that a black hole is racist? I have no doubt that some kid in middle school came up with this idea. At school, I've always been told that calling someone "black" is racist and they don't like that. The only teacher I've had that didn't tell me that was the only black teacher I've ever had. Not to mention that all of the black people I know prefer being called black. If a black hole is racist, why isn't a white dwarf racist? Or a dwarf planet? A white russian could be racist two ways, and they aren't complaining. They're only saying this because the new president happens to be black, which is a minority. If these people think he'll be offended by this word, they should listen to his speeches, and see how many times he calls himself black when talking about his heritage. These people are dumb.
