If I had the ability to vote this election, I would probably end up voting for Obama. This is because I don't support the War in Iraq, and he has promised to end it. I support Federal Budget cuts, which Obama has promised. I support middle class tax cuts, which Obama has promised. Things that I don't really support, like universal healthcare, don't bother me as much as the things that McCain would screw up, he'll probably end up spending just as much as Barack anyway.

Either candidate will probably end up doing good for the country, but... if Obama dies, it won't be the end of the world. If McCain dies, it kind of will be.

anyway, I'm with yungerkid. I met McCain when I was about 10, cool experience, and Obama's way too liberal. I don't support the war, though...so good idea Obama. but McCain still.

According to this article and associated polls pretty much the entire Western world detests McCain and/or the Republicans. In most countries, it's over 70% in favour of Obama, with only 10 or 20% for McCain. Also, most young people prefer Obama to McCain.

Now, about 99% of this forum's membership is non-American, under 25, or both. I wouldn't expect a good showing from McCain...

actually, my reason for disliking Obama is fallacious. i don't like him, just because he's popular. in my experience, most popular things are of poor quality. anyway, i think he would be a more capable leader :/
