"Lost"

So I'm playing this Turn based RPG, got that? So I'm trying to look for this place in the game, and I get "lost". Literally, "lost". It's not that I didn't know that to do next, which was a feeling that I get constantly during a Turn Based RPG, but I couldn't find out where the place I was looking for was. I spent a full 40 minutes looking for where I had to go, and spent frustrating moments wandering the same parts of the "building" I was in.

Incase your wondering, I'm playing that game "Opoona", made for the Wii, and is the basically the only RPG out for the Wii currently. Fun game, I recommend it.

So, my question is have you ever gotten "lost" in an RPG or adventure game before?

Oh yeah, and discuss.

no, because the only RPG I really play is Elder scrolls, which there isn't really a way to be lost (if you can't find a place, you probably don't know how to read a map)

PS: the internet has walkthroughs about other walkthroughs, you can find one for your game

Getting lost in Oblivion is tantamount to heresy :P

I know, I've used them before, and I have it bookmarked. I don't like to use those while I'm doing the main part of the story, as they contain spoilers about the game, and I like to figure out things for myself most of the time, if you know what I mean.

Oh yes.

I got lost in the Viridian Forest when I first got Pokemon Blue.

Basically every single Water Temple ever made in the Zelda series. Also on Tales of Symphonia. TOS can be a real pain sometimes especially a part in the game when you can take a whole bunch of different routes in the story.

The puzzles in Golden Sun can have me thinking for ages. It can take an hour just to complete one dungeon, at times.

Really? I found Golden Sun pretty easy, I ususally just overlook the obvious stuff. Maybe I should play that game again...

I get lost only when I'm in a rush, and don't bother with maps.
There's a couple of games I get lost easily in though.

I'm probably just not very good at the game then. I took a long time to complete the game.
