All I know is that it is maxing out one of my roommates dual-core and generally running like shit. Random posts on the steam forum seem to suggest that it was actually such a shitty port that some of the rendering process is being directed to the CPU, which, you know, is fucking horrible.

I'm sorry for you guys :( I haven't got this yet, but hopefully these problems aren't so troublesome for consoles.

They are not. Honestly, once these flaws are fixed with a patch, I think I'd rather love this game. (Albeit not as much as Bad Company 2, which is leagues better, frequently has new free maps for PC gamers, and has an awesome looking expansion coming out this month, not to mention features such as squads, bullet gravity, destructible buildings, and spotting.)

Yeah, talking to people online about the game, the most common word that was used was "potential". What it is at the moment is a fantastic game that is really still in development. I personally laugh inside every time I hear someone complain that there was no public beta, because really, there is. You're playing it now.

Hurrah! Even thought it only addresses a minority of the issues, that is. It is at least playable now, though. :D

It`s a decent improvement over my complaints of yesterday, however, the friends system is still completely fucked.

Good game, but incredibly frustrating to play. So far at least.

EDIT: Probably the most fucking annoying game I've ever played. The servers are absolutely horrendous at the moment. I'm finding it hard just to actually make it to the end of the game.

Sounds like a good idea. It's getting to the point now where I literally cannot play one full length game without the host fucking up. Grr.

Other then the friend glitch thing, I think this game is really fun. A massive approvement from Modern Warfare 2.

from what I heard, its going to suck starting multiplayer later because newer players get matched up with veterans often. Because of the perk and weapon upgrade system this makes it unbalanced.

I'm not having any multiplayer problems for the console version. I find the game rather enjoyable although it would have been better if they had worked on it for an extra year. I think that all video game companies should take at least 3 years to release a video game. Fallout 3 took 4 years and look at it's success. Fallout New Vegas took 2 years and seems bland and repetitive. It just seems like it is more of the same thing, which it is. When I play it it feels like I'm playing another DLC like The Pitt or something.

It's not even that good a movie. Like the dude says, in Half-Life 2 (a game from six years ago!) the NPCs would look at you when they're talking to you no matter where you move around to.

Also, obligatory HURR IT'S ABOUT MULTIPLAYER DURR comment.

I got it the other week, and I've got to say that it has some pretty snazzy features. The weapon attachments are awesome and the level of customization is pretty cool. I haven't had a single issue with connection worth speaking about.
