Talking to people about the game we all love is what makes you a part of the community. Heck, you can chat with everyone on IRC. It doesn't take having a bit of power, or more drastically, having a group named after yourself to feel at home here.beethoveN wrote:but... i didn't say admin, to be honest, i wouldn't be the best admin.

coming from a mod.
and I can't do irc, my parents won't let me.
but what I mean, is I used to be more involved, friends with great mappers, etc... but when I was 'grounded' on new years 2009, it all fell apart.

I've only had modship for a year, and it made no difference anyway. Even in the 2 years before modship, I always felt at home here. You don't need any power. :P

heh. i feel part of the community even though most people probably don't know me. I always try to remind myself that I come here for N, not for any warm fuzzy feeling of acceptance.
i don't think i'd like to be a reviewer/moderator/admin for NUMA.

I want to be a moderator or administrator just to see what it's like, for the experience, oh and to drop in on some dudes as one... there's that. I tried being a reviewer... it's silly. Opinions are silly.
