Halved.

The authors would like to acknowledge the formative work of Lowrey (2010) in this area of research, as well as the suggestion raised by Tredinnick (2011) regarding heterodox folding theory.

Why put effort in slicing? It's pointless.

I only slice sandwiches that are so massive that I'm planning on eating the halves for different meals. This is most sandwiches I buy, but practically none of the sandwiches I make.

When I do want my sandwiches sliced, I prefer that they be halved because those amounts will constitute one meal. I don't care how it's sliced, just that it is, though I don't see the point of a diagonal cut since the way I eat my sandwiches makes my bite line parallel with a straight cut anyway.

I like the sandwich I get at my local deli... it's chicken with melted mozarella and marinara sauce and hot sauce in a garlic bread roll. Deliciously satisfying.

No cut if it's for me, but when I'm making it for someone else, quartered diagonally.

I totally just read that as, "I'd hate to be the only black guy stuck using v1.4."

On the rare occasion when I'll have a PB, I fold one slice.

Sliced ones make the lettuce taste better for some reason. And you can't eat a toasted sandwich without slicing unless you want to not be normal.

That said, I'm 100% too lazy.
