Pikman's calculus minigame starts here.

Alright! Homer Simpson is experimenting with flushing springs down the toilet again. This time he decides to make a massive chain out of all the springs and attach it to the ceiling. However when he gets to 39 springs the chain already gets too close to the floor so he puts the remaining springs in a box and attaches the box to the bottom of the chain of springs. The box with all the springs in it weighs 5kg and it makes the chain of springs extend 10 centimetres when it's attached. Homer Simpson starts repeatedly flushing the toilet at regular intervals. The toilet flush exerts a force of 10 sin (t/2) newtons downwards on the box of springs where t represents time in seconds. The toilet water imparts a resistive force of 2 newtons when the box of springs is moving at 4 cm/s and you can model resistive force as proportional to velocity. At the beginning the chain of springs is in its equilibrium position and the box of springs is moving downwards at 3 cm/s. Take gravitational acceleration as 9.8 m/s².

Where is the box of springs after 10 seconds?

The springs stretch from the ceiling to some point above the floor and the box is attached to the spring at the bottom and it's placed inside the toilet.

I don't care too much for this game actually, so I'll answer that the box of springs is stuck at the ceiling since the one spring is permanently there. Zap Mode to get it over with.

Well I'm probably about as bothered about it as you are, and this was meant to be a revenge round on you anyway where I try and stop you getting any money out of it and I kind of failed doing that so I'm going to get it over and done with. I'm too lazy to check my calculations. I have that the box of springs is 3.96524196161 cm above where it started. You don't get anything for it being stuck to the ceiling.

Round 21 probably starts tomorrow.
