I will never completely leave, even after I die. My spirit will live on and permeate the forums.

At least 3-4 years. During that time, there might be periods lasting one or two months during which I wouldn't visit the forums, but I will probably come back after those months.

I think if you're planning to leave the forums, you shouldn't really be here in the first place.

I'll probably be less active next year and the year after, but that's about it.

I don't see how so many of you are going to be able to stay that long.

Probably in my last few years of (whatever appears between ages 17-18) I'll have to leave the forums for a bit, seeing I'm in the excellerate class. Then I probably do engineering or design at uni, which will take up all of my time. I guess I'll probably get bored of N when no-one I know is still playing it and have left the forums. I honestly don't see any point staying here any longer than age 20. That is of course, unless I get a hobby creating N related software, like Unreality.

After I finish my moderator AI for Kaglaxyclax. I mean, who needs a real life person to be a mod when you've got a computer that is a suitable alternative?

Basically, I'm here until further notice.

So you see, b_t, by default I almost did say that I will leave when you leave. And I actually consciously made that connection when I was creating the list.

Guess I'm sticking around until you're gone, dude. :P

I feel I should clarify my answer of "never".

First, my full answer is: If I ever permanently leave the forums on purpose, it will be a long ways off from now.

Second, the reason for that answer is that for me, the forums are inextricably associated with NUMA, which is inextricably associated with mapping. I love playing new maps and I have tons of ideas and tidbits and things for maps of my own. It's like an art for me. I just couldn't be okay with breaking it off and moving on unless I got tired of the art form itself, which doesn't look like it'll happen anytime soon. Also, there's little point in mapping and map playing without a community to do it in (represented by NUMA and the forums). So I should be here on the forums for a long time to come, though perhaps with breaks now and then.
