Aft and post

So, Maestro and I were having an arguement on the IRC today, and I was thinking about the word boding. And it's prefixes.

I put forward postboding, as the oppostite to foreboding. Maestro said that aft was the opposite of fore, but I argue that in the context postboding sounds better than aftboding. (although I admit neither make much sense- I think something bad happened. )

We've decided to let you decide! Cast your votes, discuss which one you think sounds better, and why. And tally up the votes.

Here goes.

I vote post!

The opposite of fore is aft. If you're going to invent a word that means the opposite of foreboding, you would sooner call it aftboding than postboding.

It's not preboding.

Yeah. Pre is the opposite of post. Fore is the opposite of aft.

Go back to school.

It's not about which one is correct, I tell you that aftboding is correct. It's about which one sounds better.
