I have very little preference, though for "pushing the envelope" I always say 'on'.

I am very confused and have no idea which one I say. Upon reading the topic title I think I was thinking "en", but presented with the choice I think I would say "on".
In short, the pie is somewhere, I just cannot locate it at the moment.

Every site I'f looked the phonetic spelling up on suggests 'En' is the proper.
I'd imagine 'On' is derived from Ye Olde English accent.

By way of Ye Olde French.

en-vel-oh-pay
Nah. I use en- normally, but I've said it with on- a couple of times.

"On-", but as with most words, I pronounce it in whatever way the people around me say it in the event that they say it first.
