Post a link to a song, band, or album, and the next user will rate it based on their tastes. I think something a little more descriptive other than simply a rating would be cool.

I approve of this game.
4/5 Very catchy beat, something you can dance to. I especially enjoy the bits of brass throughout. Very good. Here's mine:

3.5^/5. Cool. I certainly haven't heard anything quite like that before. I enjoyed the style of the video as well.

3.8/5. While it did have a nice Death Cab flair, I think it was lacking something. Not sure what, though.

Interesting, sounds like maybe something from a movie, personally I wouldn't listen to this often. So a 3/5 from me.

The fact that it's live makes it more interesting, but this song seems overlong to me and slightly repetitive. The melody seems more like just a beat. 2/5.

Very interesting... I hope I'm able to feel that happy when the third world war comes to destroy most of us all.
The song might seem out of taste to others, but I can hear the artist pay attention to the mood, timing, tone; stuff I like to listen to when I hear music. Plus, the lyrics had meaning. Only it might not be something I'd want to listen to more than three times.
4.5/5
Btw,
Wild Nights! was not from a movie. It's just a concert band piece by Frank Ticheli.
Angels in the Architecture
A piece about a conflict of good and evil, also by Frank Ticheli. I personally think Dr. Ticheli left out a few elements in this piece, but it has great qualities that make up for it. It's a long piece, so if you listen to it, at least get past the singing part (though I'd prefer you listen to the whole thing to fully appreciate it). Also, the performance in my link is not as perfect as the mp3 on his website, but that has to be downloaded.

I honestly couldn't appreciate this at all. There seemed to be hardly any form to it, it leapt about with no real regard to progression. Jumbled and not engaging.

I wanted to share this
very short piece with you from the film Brick by Rian Johnson (One of my favourites). It's a recurring theme, and there are better versions on the soundtrack (Lunch is Difficult being my favourite), but this will giver you an idea.
It's very effective in the context of the movie, and even though it's brief in length I still find it haunting.

It's an effective piece. I'd describe it as background music, because without seeing the film, I don't really know what kind of scene it's playing behind. All the instruments work well together, especially the soft guitar. 4/5.

Before I say anything, I should note that I'm changing my rating system. 4 now is "Really Really Awesome", while 5 is the rating I give to "super awesome songs that are my favourites and I love them".
So, I give 4/5 to this. I'm pretty bad with reviewing stuff, what I can say is that's a really nice song and I discovered a new nice band :D

Very interesting. Has a driving, constant beat. I wish I could understand what the guy was saying - I had to look up the lyrics. It's a song that blends together well and creates its own unique feel apart from other groups in the genre. I don't think I may listen to it that often, though. 3.7/5
