<Evil_Sire> Haha, i'm always an idiot about things
<Evil_Sire> where's the fun if you aint being an idiot?
<gloomp> That's true. Life would be pretty boring without idiocy.
<Evil_Sire> and idiocy would be boring without serious people
<gloomp> Exactly.
<Evil_Sire> so which are you?
<gloomp> Depends. I'd say I'm pretty serious on the Internet, most of the time.
<gloomp> And idiot if among friends.
<Evil_Sire> Yes, lets all be not like me, and be the complete oposite
<gloomp> Of course, I enjoy a little Interidiocy occasionally.
<Evil_Sire> I'm an idiot on the internet cos I dont know anyone and don't care what they think of me. Serious around friends cos I like being respected ^^
<gloomp> That explains your outbursts of dickishess.
<`stro> That's definitely the wrong way around.
<Evil_Sire> No, right way.
<Evil_Sire> I'm serious at school, idiot at home
<gloomp> O_O
<gloomp> You did not just disagree with maestro?
<Evil_Sire> Yeh, I did.
<gloomp> Tell me you didn't.
<`stro> That's right. You know I'll kick your arse 'cause I'm serious on the internet.
<gloomp> See?
<Evil_Sire> How can you kick my arse if you don't know me
<Evil_Sire> you live in adelaide dude, long way from Sydney
<gloomp> You've done it now.
<`stro> I can afford the plane travel.
<Evil_Sire> hehe
<gloomp> Oh man, oh man, you've REALLY done it now.
<Evil_Sire> uhuh
<Evil_Sire> Good luck maestro, I'm a trained ninja.
<Evil_Sire> haha
<Evil_Sire> haha
<gloomp> Yee Gods, man, have no regard for yourself? O_O
<Evil_Sire> i was making a pun
<`stro> And I made a poll.

Hum. I act in on the internet how I would in real life, but I'm not entirely sure which option that would fall under. It's a mix of serious/idiocy in both worlds.

I like this, well, I am serious in cyberspace becouse I don't know the people personnally and I don't want to be rude or offend them, but I am kinda idiotic in "meatspace"

I never act like an idiot. All my shit is grade-a choice-cut hilarity. Bot in and out of water.

Did he actually say that? He is the most idiotic person I know.

For me it's more a case of how well I know the person and what they act like.
If I'm writing to an unknown audience I will not write in a stupid fashion, like
this. If I know the person well, over the internet or through meeting up in person I will tend to relax more, occasionally doing something idiotic.

That term has existed since '95 or 2000.

Serious in cyberspace.
A good combination of both in the meatspace.

Depends on my situation. Normally, idiotic everywhere.
Oh hell.

I'm serious all-around. There's a thick line between humor and idiocy. I might crack the occasional joke and such, but yeah. Now insanity, that's a whole other thing.
